Durham Key Options

Durham Key Options (DKO) is a partnership between believe housing, Karbon Homes, Livin, North Star and Durham County Council.

We aim to give you more choice in deciding where you want to live. Properties that are available for rent will be advertised each week, both social rented and private rented. We also advertise shared ownership and affordable homeownership properties. If you are an existing tenant with a housing association you can also look to transfer through our Mutual Exchange scheme - DKO HomeSwap.

You must then tell us which properties you are interested in. This process is known as bidding. You may only bid for a property if your application has been accepted onto our housing register.
